HANNAH ROMAN, a taurus, is a student at Earlham College majoring in art with a focus in painting. She recently spent a semester at Penland school of Craft studying under mentors Rachel Meginnes and Tonya D Lee. As a product of financial instability, Hannah resisted her creative calling to be an artist feeling that a life committed to making would be unstable and unrealistic. After living in denial for twenty years, Miss Roman realized that she too is as unorthodox and impractical as the notion of being an artist and therefore has chosen to head down that very path. Also known as the paint slingin’ loud singin’ anxiety-prone Disco Cat, Miss Roman is known for her works which act as creative portals into our collective consciousness.
